Isabel Vera-Fernandez is an Associate at the Fort Lauderdale office of Landau & Associates, P.A. Isabel was born and raised in New Jersey but later moved to Florida where she graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and a Minor in Criminal Justice. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law, graduating cum laude with a Certificate in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Isabel participated in various organizations and partook in leadership positions such as being Executive Editor for her school’s Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, which was ranked No. 7 in the nation as far as impact. She was also President of the Mentschikoff Chapter of the nationally known law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, where she organized events and pro bono hours for the student body. Additionally, Isabel was placed on Dean’s list every semester since her second year of law school and was also a recipient of the CALI Excellence Award for Innovation & Invention- Patents and Trade Secrets.
Ms. Vera-Fernandez joined Landau & Associates, P.A. in 2019 and focuses her practice on zealously representing medical providers in the area of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation. She is an active member of the Florida Bar.
On her free time, Ms. Vera-Fernandez enjoys spending time with her husband and dog attending new restaurants and traveling.
