David F. Edwards


David F. Edwards, an Associate at the law firm of Landau & Associates, P.A., focuses primarily on obtaining personal injury protection (PIP) insurance benefits in breach of contract/PIP cases. A south Florida native, Mr. Edwards obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in psychology at Florida Atlantic University.

While attending Florida State University’s College of Law Mr. Edwards dual enrolled in FSU’s College of Business simultaneously completing his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. During his JD/MBA program, Mr. Edwards also received a satellite appointment in the Economic Crimes Unit of the Florida Attorney General and continued working there until his graduation and bar passage when he began practicing insurance defense.

Prior to joining Landau & Associates, Mr. Edwards litigated in the field of PIP defense, representing large insurance companies for over two years. Mr. Edwards also practiced commercial litigation and started his own firm assisting individuals and businesses afflicted by the 2010 BP Oil Spill. With his extensive experience on the defense side of PIP and broad exposure to civil litigation, Mr. Edwards developed a competitive perspective litigating against insurance companies representing individuals and medical providers.
