Melissa G. Patterer


Melissa G. Patterer is an associate at the Sunrise office of Landau & Associates, P.A. Ms. Patterer graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Criminology before obtaining a Master’s in Criminal Justice and Public Administration from Florida International University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University’s College of Law in 2014.

Upon joining the Florida Bar in 2014, Ms. Patterer litigated federal lawsuits in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida before becoming a member of the Class Action and Mass Litigation practice group at Shutts and Bowen, LLP. There, she gained valuable experience defending insurance providers in personal injury protection matters and specialized in the interpretation/application of automobile insurance policies as well as medical billing and coding issues.

Ms. Patterer joined Landau & Associates, P.A. in 2019 and focuses her practice on zealously representing medical providers in the area of personal injury protection (PIP) litigation. She is an active member of the Florida Bar and currently sits on the Florida Bar’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.
