Walwin Taylor


Walwin Taylor is an associate at the Hallandale Beach office of Landau & Associates, P. A. Mr. Taylor graduated from Florida Atlantic University, with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. Mr. Taylor attended St. Thomas University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. While at St. Thomas School of Law, Mr. Taylor was a member of the school’s trial competition team, he served as President of the Caribbean Law Students Association, Vice President of Black Law Students Association, and Research Assistant. Mr. Taylor has received the Cali Book Award, Pro bono awards and made Dean’s list. In his third year of law school Mr. Taylor was a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office where he gained valuable criminal defense experience.

Upon becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Taylor was hired as an Assistant Public Defender for the 17th Judicial Circuit. While at the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Taylor tried various criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors, juvenile felonies, and adult felonies. Mr. Taylor has also successfully argued several substantive motions in a wide range of criminal cases. Mr. Taylor has previous experience working in the insurance field as a licensed claim adjuster. Mr. Taylor focuses his practice at Landau & Associates in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Insurance Litigation.
