Lisa C. Hasselmann-Arana is a Partner at the law firm of Landau & Associates, P.A. She focuses her practice in civil litigation, primarily in the area of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) for Plaintiffs and has successfully settled numerous PIP matters. Ms. Hasselmann-Arana has also practiced as Plaintiff’s counsel in the areas of bodily injury, personal injury, product liability, and construction defect. She has also handled transactional law matters and has practiced in the area of first-party insurance defense.

Ms. Hasselmann-Arana’s wide range of knowledge in the legal profession comes from her years of experience in the legal profession. While Ms. Hasselmann-Arana was licensed to practice in the State of Florida in May 2016, she has been working in the legal profession since 1999. Ms. Hasselmann-Arana has also managed her own practice and is familiar with law firm management, as well. Her specific experience ranges from presuit litigation through trial preparation.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Hasselmann-Arana worked as a legal assistant, paralegal, clerk and also had the honor of working with the judiciary, when she worked as a judicial assistant.

Ms. Hasselmann-Arana is a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law, graduating cum laude, and did her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Florida International University. While in school, she was a recurrent member of the Dean’s List and recipient of the Book Award in Legal Writing. Ms. Hasselmann-Arana has previously served as a pro bono intern with the Volunteer Lawyers’ Project for the Southern District of Florida.

She is fluent in Spanish and has basic Sign Language knowledge.
