Melody Small is a Partner at Landau and Associates, P.A. Mrs. Small graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. During her undergraduate years, Mrs. Small volunteered as a Certified Victims Advocate for the Quigley House. Mrs. Small attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate degree and graduated in the top 15% of her class. Along with her law degree, Mrs. Small also received certificates in Research, Writing, and Drafting and Environmental Law. During law school, Mrs. Small worked as a teaching assistant and a research assistant, as well as a legal extern for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Mrs. Small graduated law school with her Juris Doctor in December 2010 and took the bar exam in February 2011. Mrs. Small was admitted to the Florida Bar in April of 2011 and has been actively practicing law since May of 2011. Prior to joining Landau and Associates, P.A., in 2012, Mrs. Small gained valuable litigation experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney representing a large insurance carrier for a year and a half. Mrs. Small lives with her husband and children in Cooper City, Florida.
